Health Education Materials Sponsorship

One facet of MEDICO's field team work includes health education for community residents and leaders at the work sites we serve.  Lessons include basic hygiene, safe water usage, and food preparation. As a part of these lessons, we have incorporated 12 laminated color posters.

Field Team Opportunities

MEDICO is most fortunate to have numerous applicants apply for positions on field teams.  With the tremendous success of our model of humanitarian service in Central America, we have experienced an increase in the number of applications provided for field team opportunities. 

The MEDICO staff recommends that all prospective field team applicants complete and submit application for field teams as early as is possible.  Applications are first considered by the date received.   An emailed response will then be sent to the email address provided on the application as soon as possible.   For questions, contact tripcoordinator@medico.org.

Disclaimer: MEDICO does not:

• Assume a volunteer's interest in participation on a field team, without a completed application for that specified field team.
• Select a volunteer to a field team without a completed application.
• Guarantee a selected volunteer’s friend or family member a position on a field team.
• The team roster is developed only from completed and submitted volunteer applications.
