You can also support MEDICO with noncash items, or gifts-in-kind.
MEDICO collects items to distribute via its medical mission teams
to people in its service areas. Contact the MEDICO office for more
information. Following are some items that MEDICO accepts:
 School
supplies. Maps, pencils, pens, rulers, crayons, glue, Play
Dough, finger paints, scissors, water colors, colored pencils, construction
paper, compasses, pencil boxes, 3-ring binders, spiral notebooks,
backpacks, stencils, chalk, staplers, staples, tacks, paperclips,
hole punchers, magnifying glasses, pencil sharpeners.
Health kits. Soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, wash
cloths, combs, hairbrushes, razors, deodorant, small mirrors.
First aid kits. Band-Aids, antibiotic ointments,
Ace bandages, gauze, scissors, small bottles of iodine, alcohol
wipes, tape
Sewing kits. Buttons, safety pins, snaps, thread,
needles, ribbon, scissors
Infant kits. Cloth diapers, diaper pins, baby
bottles and nipples, baby blankets, infant caps or bonnets, plastic
pants, baby wipes
Thank-you gifts for village cooks. Aprons, hot
pads, kitchen towels, small hand utensils
Thank-you gifts for male helpers. Razors, socks,
baseball caps, miscellaneous hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers,
pliers, ropes, small saws, wires, nails, etc.
Gifts of sight. Used eyeglasses, sunglasses
Miscellaneous. Ziplock bags, bath towels, bed
sheets.
