MEDICO, a nonprofit humanitarian service organization, has been providing comprehensive health care response in Central America since 1990. Our efforts are through short-term medical mission teams, sustainable projects, special initiatives, and partnerships with other humanitarian organizations responding to health related issues for the impoverished living in this area of the world.

MEDICO’s mission is to provide medical, eye and dental services to remote areas of Central America where there is little or no access to basic health care.

MEDICO achieves this mission through the participation of medical and non-medical volunteers serving in many different capacities.
